PRESIDENTIAL PET MUSEUM WINTER AND SPRING NEWS APRIL 2009

THE PRESIDENTIAL PET MUSEUM WAS HAPPY TO JOIN THE INAUGURALFEST WHICH WAS JIM WARLICK’S AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE FEATURING THE PRESIDENTIAL EXTRAVAGANZA. WITH THE LAST MINUTE BUT HEROIC HELP FROM THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB, THE PET MUSEUM HAD A SUBSTANTIAL EXHIBIT AND PRESENCE AT THIS EVENT AND HUGH CROWDS ENJOYED OUR ‘HELP OBAMA FMAILY P ICK THEIR PUPPY DISPLAY.” Afterwards the display was put on exhibit at the Presidential Pet Museum at Presidents Park in Williamsburg and will remain there all year as a traveling exhibit is built around it.

AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB BECOMES MAJOR SPONSOR OF THE PRESIDENTIAL PET MUSEUM. Thanks to their support we were able to put up a sensational Obama family display showing their logo and you will find it on our website. The Pet Museum and the Presidents Park hopes that this leads to more rewarding co-operation through the year as the Pet Museum works to build the touring display and help promote pure-bred dogs.
Mrs. Altha Graham’s name has been added to the Founders Plaque and our sincere appreciation to her as well as our other founders for their support. Now is the time to support the Pet Museum for 2009 as our projects and upkeep need your help. There has been a winter slowdown at the Park, so please try to visit us at Williamsburg. Va.
“Betes de Pouvior” is an documentary that has been taped at the Pet Museum and Park in early April by a French and Canadian film company that will have world wide distribution. As it comes closer to release we will be able to tell you more about it only to say the Pet Museum plays a nice part in it.
Except to say “Send Money” donations of any kind, happily accepted, so may a pledge for 2009 to help keep the Presidential Pet Museum and the President’s Park alive and well.
